Table Rock Lake Current Bass Fishing Report 5-29-14

005   Hope you all have been following me on ozarkanglers.com/fourms on our trips on the lake.  Have not posted  in a while, just way to busy guiding on Taneycomo and Table Rock 97 guide trips from March thru May.  Does not leave a lot of time for computers. John Dickerson April 24 14 011 Current Table Rock Lake Fishing Report is surface temperature at 74 degree with the water level at 915 and clarity at 12' most lake wide. 003   Due to the length of the season, the spawn has been drawn out and is just winding up with the Spotted bass either about to finish or close. 002 I have never had a better Spring of Smallmouth bass fishing as it has just been outstanding not from a size factor, but sheer numbers of fish per day.  Most days on 1/2 day trips in May we were catch and releasing 50 plus fish. 007 Just starting to see some topwater action now and with the continued use of the varmint and I'm guessing a soon to be drop-shot bite we will swing into Summer on a high note. 004 First time in 25 years guiding the Rock that I have ever had a triple on Jaw's. John Dickerson April 24 14 003 Look for early morning fish off the flat gravel runnouts surfacing.  After  they have gone down, target them with a split-shot rigged fish dr. in green pumpkin, or a wobble head with a Yamamoto Fat Baby Craw.  GP.  For shallower Smallmouth action, use the Ned Rig or as it is now being called on the Rock the Varmint.  Natural colors in GP-GP/Orange and Dirt are among the best. 001 For instruction on the Ned Rig and other clear water along with drop-shot fishing be sure to give us a call for a great day on the water.  May is gone and my June and early July book are filling up, so give us a shout and don't miss out.
