Current Table Rock Lake Fishing Report 2-27-14

White River Outfitters Guide Service Current Table Rock Lake Fishing Report February 27th. 2014  Branson, Missouri Fishing 2-114 008   Winter still has us in the grips here in the Branson, Shell Knob, Kimberling City area, with the bass fishing depending on how you are allowed to fish being cold to pretty warm. 2-114 001   White River area from Shell Knob to pretty much Eureka Springs on the White River being by far the best bite. 2-114 006   I have been fishing from Holiday Island, Arkansas to about point 22 or the junction of the Kings and the White River. Alabama Rigs and slow moving Football Jigs are taking the majority of the fish in these locations, with fish on the bottom in 25 to 35 ft. of water off the secondary points and gravel main lake points. 2-25-14 007   At this time we have not seen a lot of pre-spawn staging off the bluffend points where at any day they will be suspended to move into a feeding and spawning configuration. 2-25-14 003   Water temperatures lake wide are ranging from 37 to 41 degrees, and we have had a big threadfin shad kill in the Kimberling City to the Long Creek area.  This is usually very good early season stickbait water, but with the numbers of dying shad it has been slow.  The White River arm has not had these shad kills, and should remain a very viable fishery. 2-25-14 001   We are using several special baits on our Alabama Rigs and using a modification of these Rigs, for more information, please email us and we will be happy to let you in on what we are doing and how we are presenting these baits. Good Luck
