Table Rock Lake Fishing Report March 4th. 2014

Current Branson, Kimberling City Table Rock Lake Fishing Report 3-4-14  White River Outfitters Guide Service March 4th. Blue Eye Missouri BFL was here this weekend with about 100 boats that fished on Saturday.  I thought about fishing, but the weather was to be miserable.   Turned out to be great, so I missed my deal.  I had a good bag on Saturday, but it would not have been enough,  Mike Fann did the dead with 5 fish weighing 23+ and that is just a huge bag for a Pro-Am over a team event. 001 Report is that Mike caught his fish between Kimberling City and downstream to Indian Point.  Other nice reports are coming out of Long Creek on that end of the lake.  All the strings were caught on the Alabama Rig. Saturday bass fishing March 1st 006 Mid-Lake and up the James have been tough.  You pretty much have to be at least to Campbell  Point up the White River to avoid the shad kill and catch a decent bag.  Again on the Alabama Rig. Saturday bass fishing March 1st 002 I started out of Eagle Rock at 7 AM on Saturday morning and went up stream to almost the Arkey Border.  Caught a nice 6 pounder on my first cast with the A-Rig and could not get another bite on it for a spell.  Fished a 5/16 oz. FB in GP with a GP baby bush hog as the trailer and caught 3 solid keeper largemouth on it.  Bite ended about 9 AM and I struggled for a couple of hours until I started hitting them again on the A-Rig. Saturday bass fishing March 1st 001 5 nice K's off one location and 4 nice Lm on another got me going again.  I fished down to about Carter creek on flat gravel runnouts for my later in the morning fish.  Really nice day and I'm guessing my best 5 would have been in the 17.5 range.  12 total keeps and several short fish, with the biggin being the first one.
